We got started back in 2013, when Damon came to work at Homestead Acres, a 100+ year old farmstead owned by Monte and Ron Lerwick.  At the time, the busy summer season was demanding, and we had to come up with some way to check the water.  Damon was trained as an electrical and aerospace engineer at Texas A&M University.  To save driving 15 miles checking water on busy summer days, cousin Monte Lerwick asked Damon to come up with a way to automate and report the water level.  Over the last decade, Damon, Monte, Ron and Viktor have designed and refined what became known as the Tank Toad, a remote stock tank monitoring solution.  The Tank Toad has evolved to include cellular and satellite connectivity technologies.  We now professionally produce the majority of components and assemble them here in the United States, in locations across our home state of Wyoming.  We are not another tech gimmick, we are down to earth, efficient business partners who want you to succeed in your ranching operation.  We are proud to offer a reliable water checking and remote control mechanism designed for and by ranchers.  We appreciate what your struggles are and we are here for you every step of the way.
